Option #1 -- In Person

Join in person by bringing the ORIGINAL copy of your
doctor's letter of recommendation and your California
state-issued photo ID to the LAPCG during regular
operating hours. If you have a CA state or County
issued medical cannabis ID card, you may bring that
as well. (Please note that medical cannabis ID cards
are optional under state law.)

Your membership will be pending until we verify your
letter of recommendation. You may not be able to
receive same-day services if we are unable to
contact your physician.

There will be a brief in-take orientation upon your
first visit.
The LAPCG operates in strict compliance with California Health and Safety Code §11362.5 and §11362.7. We serve only legally qualified patients and
caregivers. Under no circumstances whatsoever are services provided to persons who are not qualified under California law. You must become a
registered member to obtain services. LAPCG only provides services to members with a verifiable letter from their physician recommending medical
cannabis use. We will not provide any services until our staff has verified your recommendation and the status of your physician's medical license.
MEMBERSHIP QUALIFICATIONS

In order to qualify for membership:
  • You must submit the ORIGINAL (not a copy) and CURRENT letter of
    recommendation from a California licensed physician for verification. We
    will not keep your original. We do not keep a copy of your recommendation.

  • You must present a valid an unexpired California state ID card,
California state driver's license, or state-issued proof of California residency.

  • You must fill out and sign a registration form and
  • complete a short intake orientation before receiving services.

  • You must be at least eighteen (18) years old and have a CA state issued ID
    to enter the building. Parents or court-appointed legal guardians must act
    as caregivers to obtain services on behalf of legally qualified patients who
    are younger than eighteen years old
ABOUT YOUR MEMBERSHIP

  • You must present your California ID and
  • a copy of your physican's letter of
    recommendation at each visit.

  • Your membership is valid until your letter of
    recommendation expires, or for one (1) year
    after the issue date if there is no expiration
    date indicated.

  • Membership is "at will" and may terminated by
    you or the LAPCG at any time.

Failure to do so could result in the termination of your
membership.

Option #2 -- By Fax
You can fax your letter of recommendation, a copy of your
California Identification or Driver's License, and a completed online
registration form in advance of your first visit. This way, you can
be sure that your letter has been verified before you arrive. To
register in advance, print a copy of the New Member Brochure and
Online Advance Registration Form by clicking the links. Be sure to
read the New Member Brochure carefully. It contains important
information about your membership.

Fax your completed registration form and your letter of
recommendation to the LAPCG at (323) 882-6263. It usually
takes 2-3 business days to complete the verification. You can
check the status of your registration by calling us at (323)
882-6033 during regular business hours.

Be sure to sign your online registration form.
We must have your permission to verify your recommendation.
